The San Antonio Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank has been open since July, 1927 and has grown from 55 employees to over 150 today. Due to growth, the bank has changed location twice over the years and currently resides in what was once the historic Vance House, a small hotel where Robert E. Lee once frequented. Be sure to note the special plaque on the building grounds which commemorates this fact.
